The Autobox team had the honor of participating in a truly special event: a visit to the Petronas Lubricants International headquarters in Villastellone, thanks to the exclusive invitation received from Petronas. A unique opportunity to touch the innovation that fuels Formula 1 – and beyond.
The absolute protagonist of the day was Kimi Antonelli, a young Italian talent from the Mercedes driver academy, who guided us through a passionate story about the importance of the partnership technique between Petronas and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team. A bond that goes far beyond sponsorship: Petronas develops and produces high-performance fuels and lubricants tailor-made for the Formula 1 single-seater, and the technology used on the track reaches our everyday cars, improving their efficiency and reliability.
We also had the opportunity to see the Mercedes F1 live, an emotion that is not easily forgotten, and to participate in a guided tour inside the Petronas laboratories, where we discovered how the high-performance fluids that make the difference in the most extreme contexts are born.
